Welcome to Grooves. By using Grooves or grooves.fm, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Grooves.

2. Description of the Service

Grooves is a social platform for rating, reviewing, discussing, and discovering music albums.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for your account and all activity under it. You agree to provide accurate information and keep your account secure.

4. User-Generated Content

You retain ownership of content you submit to Grooves, including reviews, ratings, comments, profile information, and other posts. By posting content, you confirm that you own it or have the necessary rights to share it. You grant Grooves a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, reproduce, and distribute your content in connection with operating and promoting the Service. You are solely responsible for the content you post.

5. Content Moderation

Grooves may review, remove, restrict, or moderate content that violates these Terms, applicable law, or our community standards. We may remove content or suspend accounts without prior notice when necessary to protect users, comply with law, or maintain the safety and integrity of the Service.

6. Reporting and Blocking

Users may report content or accounts they believe are abusive, objectionable, unlawful, or in violation of these Terms. Users may also block other users. Blocking a user may hide that user's content from your experience on Grooves. Grooves may investigate reports and take appropriate action, including removing content, restricting access, suspending accounts, or terminating accounts.

7. Prohibited Conduct

You may not:

• Harass, threaten, abuse, or intimidate others
• Post hateful, discriminatory, violent, or sexually explicit content
• Spam, scam, or engage in fraudulent activity
• Impersonate another person, artist, brand, or entity
• Infringe copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights
• Upload content you do not have permission to use
• Attempt to disrupt, exploit, reverse engineer, or interfere with the Service
• Encourage illegal activity, self-harm, or harmful behavior
• Use Grooves in a way that harms other users or the platform

8. Music Opinions and Subjectivity

Ratings and reviews on Grooves reflect personal opinions only. They are not facts, professional advice, or endorsements by Grooves.

9. Album Artwork and Third-Party Content

Grooves is a platform for music discussion, commentary, criticism, review, and discovery. Album artwork, artist names, album titles, release information, ratings, and related music metadata may be displayed for identification, informational, commentary, review, and discussion purposes. Such content may be provided by users, third-party data providers, or publicly available sources.

All copyrights, trademarks, and other intellectual property rights in album artwork, artist names, music recordings, logos, and related materials remain the property of their respective owners. Grooves does not claim ownership of any third-party music artwork, artist content, trademarks, or metadata displayed on the Service.

The inclusion of album artwork or music-related information on Grooves does not imply any affiliation, endorsement, sponsorship, or ownership by the respective rights holders.

If you are a copyright owner or authorized representative and believe that content available through Grooves infringes your intellectual property rights, you may contact us with a detailed notice identifying the material at issue. Upon receipt of a valid request, we may investigate and remove or restrict access to the content where appropriate. Users are responsible for ensuring that any content they upload, submit, or share through Grooves does not violate applicable intellectual property laws or the rights of others.

Your use of Grooves is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect information.

11. Enforcement and Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to Grooves at any time if you violate these Terms or use the Service in a way that may harm Grooves, other users, or the platform.
