8.3/10 Sandbox is a welcome addition to The All-American Rejects discography. They explore a new sound on their return record. At points it’s simply mindless pop, and at others it’s a complete nostalgia trip that takes you back home to the country roads the band grew up on. My personal favorite track, Green Isn’t Yellow, was played live for the first time at my show. It was beautiful, you could hear Tyson so well and the crowd adapted beautifully to the new sound we were hearing. Their decision to play that song for the first time in the middle of nowhere in the Midwest really drives the point of it home. Standout Track: Green Isn’t Yellow
