Sadie Jean! Sadie Jean! Sadie Jean! You are the most precious song writer I’ve discovered as of late. She really reminds me of Jenna Raine. This album (I believe it began as an EP) is just so precious and heartfelt. Aisle 6 might be the most devastating song I’ve heard recently as someone about to make her way to college! Shut Up About It is SO fun. Everything about the album just feels like wholesome young girl vibes. I think she’s clearly grown up in her second album (Early Twenties Torture) and has more versatility in the style of song but this album is still very charming as a debut! Her voice is just so beautiful and passionate too. I think she could vary topics in the songs a bit (I personally love to hear a little more about life than just boys) but I digress! This album is clearly the stepping stones to her next one and wow am I glad it exists! Sadie Jean is just the perfect mix of singer-songwriter and pop girlie.
