Dude, this album is so cinematic. Each song’s lyrics and sound just perfectly come together to create this movie moment whether it’s the moment where she’s sobbing into someone’s chest or the moment she’s running through the fields with her lover. It just has something for everyone. Helter Skelter (I swear my favorites are always weird names- e.g. mews on Gracie’s new album) is one I particularly connect with. Her voice is just so deep and rich too. The only song I don’t love is Dear Stranger and probably Devil Herself too (those are the two that didn’t get added to the playlist so do with that what you will). Overall…. This album is just the perfect blend of pop and rockish inspired vibes and I love it to death! Also- her life sounds so interesting and I think she may just be good at writing it to sound really movie drama like. ;)
