I mean yeah… I just love this album. Similar to their other albums, they just have such unique ideas in every song. I will say this one has some more sudden changes between songs that can feel like whiplash. The only song I don’t really love is Victims Of Life (mostly due to sound). No Hard Feelings truly may be one of the best songs in the world. And same with True Sadness. “ Angela became a target As soon as her beauty was seen By young men who try to reduce her down To a scene on an x-rated screen Is she not more than the curve of her hips? Is she not more than the shine on her lips? Does she not dream to sing and to live and to dance down her own path? Without being torn apart Does she not have a heart?” DAMN! Also, obsessed with Divorce Separation Blues (which I’ve been told is a hot take in the Avett Brothers community). Truly, I just wish I had their minds. (Ps they got their first hit with Ain’t No Man on this album which makes me happy).
