I quite enjoy this album. I think I like some of their albums slightlyy better however this one still has many iconic songs. First of all, Vanity has always had a choke hold on me. Morning Song, Another Is Waiting, and Bring Your Love To Me 🤯. I think some of their other albums touch a wider range of topics that I really enjoy but this one still has so many really deep songs that I’m accustomed to hearing from the Avett Brothers. I have to say… I was told I would really like Good To You (death curse for that song haha) and I left sonically confused tbh. But overall this album is full of songs that are 6/10 and higher. This feels like such a fame album. Over half of the songs are about fame/touring life. It’s not the mosttt relatable topic for all listeners but personally I don’t have to relate to a song to connect with and understand it.
