I would say that this is overall soulless. Like once again... you can only sing sex songs if you're cool enough to. Like Alessi Rose and Sabrina Carpenter can because they have the charisma. Reneé just doesn't have that charisma so it comes out as cringe. And the non-sex songs are just boring break up songs or "hot girl music" basically. I've been told her old stuff is better... so I'll go listen to that and see if I agree. But for now?- I see the broadway vocals for sure... but the lyrics are lackluster. I do really like Sometimes and That's So Funny. Shy, Leave Me Alone, Mad, and At Least I'm Hot stand out to me as the worst in the album. It's just pretty bland overall. Most of them have a good beat and all of them have great vocals, but that doesn't make up for nothing words in my opinion. If you like pop music with good vocals then you'll probably like this... but as a lyric girlie.. EH.
