Yeah, I don't really like this. Jenna used to have some pretty sweet/sad songs... but now it's just giving wifed up WHICH is not a bad thing... but doesn't really matchup with my place in life and my pov. I don't really think it's particularly good writing. I don't think it's awful... it's mostly just boring. I don't know... I don't really love the idea of her whole life being rooted in jeans (or more southern culture) and boys.. I do support the Jesus though haha. I don't know... I'm literally southern, but I just don't relate to the southern traditions of love and marriage I guess. I do like Too Late, Too Late and Talk Of The Town. I think overall this is just a safe piece of work that's not particularly good or bad. I think it's a little shallow by my standard... but at least it's earnest. I don't know... it's just pointless to me. My takeaway from the album is that she's engaged and happy... which is true haha. I wouldn't say I learn anything psychological about her. I'm sure if you like country pop you'd like this. Also, this is labeled a pop album... but I feel it is country music but like without the twang. I just think she doesn't do anything ground breaking here which is fine... but I don't even like the vibes so that kind of just leaves it as a 2/10 for me. Like if you're gonna not say much... make it fun? Like Alessi Rose haha.
