Well, this album is suprsingly good. It always impresses me when tik tok artists have some good music. Thank you, salem. It's not a masterpiece, but I actually really like her early work (I also listened to some of the singles she released around this time). Time Machine has always been the song on this record that I connect with the most. I think her vocals really stand out on that one. Is there some cringey production on here that makes me slightly embarrassed to say I enjoyed it... yes? But I still think there's more artistic heart behind this than a lot of the other songs I've listened to. At least she has a consistent voice and writing style. I can recognize her songs and style for better or for worse. I also really love Impatient (God, 8th grade me really messed with the Jordan remix too haha- and lowkey still do now). I don't know if I like this because I have nostalgia and bias towards it... but I don't know? I just think it's pretty decent. But I might be wrong. But I just feel like I kind of do like this... even though I would kind of like to just laugh at the cringe stuff I used to listen to. (JK- young me had great music taste- she was a Gracie Abrams girlie in the TIWIFL era- go read that review and you'll know how I feel about that album). I wasn't sure if I liked the song Numbers Game... but I gave it the benefit of the doubt because it is borderline cringe and if it was any other artist I might give it that c-r-i-n-g-e title.
