Yeah, I don't know why I thought this would be good. I think it's because her first single back in 2022 (Hate You) was actually pretty decent... but I fear that this one labels itself as "pop slop." She tells me nothing and has very generic lyrics. Every song is essentailly a hot girl song or a hot girl break up. Give me more nuance! You're not JUST HOT! She basically does what every other album I've hated on on here does- she takes a common phrase like "he gives me butterflies" and does absolutely nothing with it. Brother, make it like atomic butterflies that are killing you from the inside out or something (lol that was just the first thing that came to my head) OR something interesting beyond a boy being cute and making your tummy turn. And please... you're a hands on learner so put your hands on me? Is that not used in like porn ads? I don't know... she's a serve in so many ways and obviously she's gorgeous and I think her videos used to be really funny... but here she served nothing lowkey which too bad. It's the tik tokification of music... but at least she didn't try to lull me into liking a song with one good beat... she just wrote mid lyrics. That's truly her worst crime.
