Around the Fur

Around the Fur is the second studio album by the American alternative metal band Deftones, released on October 28, 1997. The critically acclaimed record helped catapult the band to mainstream success with the hit singles "My Own Summer (Shove It)" and "Be Quiet and Drive (Far Away)". A fun fact about the album is that the hidden track "Bong Hit" is simply an actual voicemail recording of guitarist Stephen Carpenter and bassist Chi Cheng smoking out of a bong.
