Both Sides Now is a concept album by Canadian singer-songwriter Joni Mitchell, released in 2000. The album traces the arc of a modern romantic relationship through Mitchell's orchestral renditions of classic jazz standards and two of her own original songs. Fun fact: The album's closing title track is a lush, world-weary re-recording of a song Mitchell originally wrote in the 1960s!
