In 2016, Los Angeles-based alternative rock band The 88 released their album "Close to You," blending lively songs with mellower ballads. The album features the group's distinctive sound, incorporating pop and indie rock elements. Highlights include "Wasting My Time," "Love Is the Thing," and "Interlude." Fun fact: The 88 had the opportunity to tour with Ray Davies of The Kinks, performing at London's Royal Albert Hall.
