MGMT's second studio album, 'Congratulations,' released on April 13, 2010, marks a departure from their synth-pop roots, embracing a more psychedelic and guitar-driven sound. Produced by the band and Sonic Boom, the album features nine tracks, including 'It's Working,' 'Flash Delirium,' and the title track. The cover art, designed by Anthony Ausgang, depicts a hedgehog-like animal surfing on a wave anthropomorphized as a cat. Fun fact: Despite initial plans to avoid singles, 'Flash Delirium' was released as the lead single on March 9, 2010.
