Released in 1977, 'Deceptive Bends' is 10cc's fifth studio album, marking their first without founding members Kevin Godley and Lol Creme. The album features the hit single 'The Things We Do for Love,' which reached No. 1 in Canada and No. 5 on the Billboard Hot 100. The title was inspired by a road sign warning of deceptive bends on the A24 between Leatherhead and Dorking in Surrey.
