Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (Original Soundtrack)
Various Artists2004Soundtrack, Score1 review
The soundtrack to Michel Gondry's acclaimed 2004 film "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind" features a whimsical and melancholic original score composed by Jon Brion, alongside a curated selection of pop and indie songs. The album's emotional centerpiece is Beck's haunting cover of The Korgis' "Everybody's Got to Learn Sometime," crafted in collaboration with Brion. A fun fact: Electric Light Orchestra's uplifting track "Mr. Blue Sky" appears on the album and was used heavily in the film's promotional trailers, but it never actually plays in the movie itself.
