Released on October 5, 1970, 'Led Zeppelin III' marked a significant shift in the band's musical direction, incorporating more acoustic and folk elements alongside their signature hard rock sound. Recorded in various locations, including Headley Grange and Olympic Studios, the album features tracks like 'Immigrant Song' and 'That's the Way.' Despite initial mixed reactions, it topped charts in both the UK and the US, solidifying its status as a classic. Fun fact: The album's intricate cover design, featuring a rotating wheel, delayed its release by two months.
