Mama's Gun is the second studio album by American singer-songwriter Erykah Badu, largely recorded at Electric Lady Studios with the musical collective the Soulquarians. Sonically more eclectic than her debut, it features a warm, organic sound driven by live instrumentation and deeply introspective songwriting. Fun fact: The emotional closing track "Green Eyes" was written by Badu in the aftermath of her breakup with Outkast's André 3000, with whom she had just had a son!
