Recorded during the COVID-19 lockdown, 'McCartney III' is Paul McCartney's 18th solo album, released on December 18, 2020. Embracing a DIY approach, McCartney played all instruments and vocals, continuing the tradition from his 1970 and 1980 self-titled albums. The album received critical acclaim, debuting at number one in the UK and number two in the US. Fun fact: The album's cover art was designed by artist Ed Ruscha, an acquaintance of the McCartney family.
