"New Art Riot E.P." is a 1990 release by Welsh alternative rock band Manic Street Preachers and marks their first record to feature the classic four-piece line-up. Filled with fast-paced, punk-infused tracks, the EP established the foundational sound and political lyricism that would define their early career. Fun fact: during recording, the band actually smashed a guitar to capture the sound effect, and its dismembered neck was later used as a doorstop at the producer's studio!
