Released in February 1975, 'Rock 'n' Roll' is John Lennon's sixth and final solo studio album, featuring covers of late 1950s and early 1960s rock and roll classics. The recording process was tumultuous, spanning over a year due to producer Phil Spector's erratic behavior and legal disputes. Despite these challenges, the album achieved commercial success, reaching number 6 in both the UK and US charts and earning gold certifications in both countries. Fun fact: The album's cover photo was taken by Jürgen Vollmer during The Beatles' stay in Hamburg.
