Sting's fourth solo album, released in 1993, marks a shift to an upbeat mood, exploring themes of love and morality. It features hits like "If I Ever Lose My Faith in You" and "Fields of Gold," both charting in the U.S. Top 20. The album earned six Grammy nominations, winning Best Engineered Album, Non-Classical, Best Male Pop Vocal Performance, and Best Long Form Music Video. Fun fact: The album's title is a pun combining Sting's surname, Sumner, and a character from Chaucer's The Canterbury Tales, the summoner.
