Thursday is the critically acclaimed second mixtape by Canadian singer-songwriter The Weeknd, which was later remastered and commercially released as part of his 2012 compilation album, Trilogy. The project expands on his signature dark, atmospheric sound, exploring themes of hedonism, drug use, and newfound fame. Fun fact: The Weeknd titled the project as a reference to an open relationship where he and a former lover decided to only see each other on Thursdays.
