Okay and the first time I listened to this album (maybe a couple months ago) I did not like it at all. I was very closed off to the synth noise... and I still am not obsessed with it by any means... but I do like it more this time. This album proves how good it is by the fact that I feel like I've heard every song on the album before... because it's all been viral online. I really really love THE GREATEST, SKINNY, and WILDFLOWER. The parts of the album I don't like are L'AMOUR DE MA VIE and BITTERSUITE that sound like two halves of two different songs that get smushed together... and I don't really understand the art behind why. Like maybe I just don't get that style of music and the thought behind why... but it always just feels jarring when it happens in a song. Maybe the point is to be jarring? But anyways, THE GREARTEST feels like Happier Than Ever's skeleton which I love. I love Billie's rage songs. I think this is a really great album that in my opinion is smothered by its production... FINNEAS lol.
