Hit Me Hard and Soft

Okay and the first time I listened to this album (maybe a couple months ago) I did not like it at all. I was very closed off to the synth noise... and I still am not obsessed with it by any means... but I do like it more this time. This album proves how good it is by the fact that I feel like I've heard every song on the album before... because it's all been viral online. I really really love THE GREATEST, SKINNY, and WILDFLOWER. The parts of the album I don't like are L'AMOUR DE MA VIE and BITTERSUITE that sound like two halves of two different songs that get smushed together... and I don't really understand the art behind why. Like maybe I just don't get that style of music and the thought behind why... but it always just feels jarring when it happens in a song. Maybe the point is to be jarring? But anyways, THE GREARTEST feels like Happier Than Ever's skeleton which I love. I love Billie's rage songs. I think this is a really great album that in my opinion is smothered by its production... FINNEAS lol.

doesn’t feel as strong as her other albums it’s not bad but it’s not my favorite

ah

love how it’s one emotional, consise world!

weirdly when this first came out it was like coke for me i had to listen to it but now as i’ve strayed away from the billie fandom its not the best album. it’s good but it’s definitely not her best at all

her best, concise, focused, and has some of her best songs back to back, just lacks a strong theme but makes up for it with the cohesion
