5786 AM: Easy Listen is a dense and intricate project by enigmatic rapper Mach-Hommy, produced entirely in collaboration with Playa Haze. The album explores heavy historical themes, including colonialism and the Arawak genocide, delivered through Mach's signature cryptic lyricism. Fun fact: The title juxtaposes the Hebrew calendar year 5786 with the Latin abbreviation 'AM' (Anno Mundi), cheekily presenting a highly complex and challenging record as simple 'easy listening'.
