I will never understand why people like stuff like this that is relatively soulless, but hate Taylor Swift. I think the artistic merit here is in the actual music. I think Boys is a standout with the people talking in between the singing parts. I think she had a vision with that song and executed it well. I like Red Bottoms- I think it's a pretty song. Well, damn. I wanted to like Hitachi because it's a sad piano ballad... but never in my life have I heard a sad song about a vibrator. I like the sound, but I fear I cannot add that to my playlist. BTW not everything is about sex (at least God, I hope it's not). This is just a really sexually explicit album, but like it's unironic. At least Sabrina Carpenter is joking... Adela is not. Some of the songs have good sound and I would listen to and vibe to... but the lyrics are far too convicting to listen to. I understand the sonic appeal of it, I guess. At least she seems like she had vision... even if the vision is rather shallow. I also didn't know that I knew Ain't In La, but it's been all over instagram/tik tok.

This is the main girl hyper/bubblegum pop I grew up on and crave.

ok, I feel like Reddit agrees that this album’s musical direction was not as expected or hyped up to be. Especially along the lines of pop music and compared to the provocateur. Nonetheless, her single releases were bangers. And I like I’m the man and marijuana…but why are so many songs about dating bummy dudes nooooo.

I never thought Slovakia, or the Czech Republic, for that matter, would produce a global pop star, but over the past few months, Adéla has proved me wrong. This album delivers on the promise of everything she’s released so far. From the stellar singles to the distinctive tracks like Starving Artist and Marijuana, the album showcases her versatility.
