Atom Heart Mother

Atom Heart Mother is the fifth studio album by the English rock band Pink Floyd, marking a major transition from their earlier psychedelic style to a more symphonic, progressive rock sound. The record became their first to reach number one on the UK Albums Chart, largely driven by the ambitious 23-minute orchestral title track. Fun fact: The album's title was hastily chosen right before a radio broadcast, inspired by an Evening Standard newspaper headline about a woman fitted with a plutonium-powered pacemaker.
