Released in 1986, 'Balance of Power' is the eleventh studio album by Electric Light Orchestra (ELO). The album marked a shift towards a more electronic sound, with Jeff Lynne taking a one-man-band approach to production. It features the hit single 'Calling America' and is notable for being the band's final album before their initial disbanding. Fun fact: The video for 'Calling America' was filmed in Paris, showcasing the band performing in front of the Centre Georges Pompidou.
