Released on September 22, 1975, 'Extra Texture (Read All About It)' is George Harrison's sixth solo album and his final release under Apple Records. Recorded primarily in Los Angeles, the album features a soulful sound with contributions from musicians like Leon Russell and Jesse Ed Davis. Notably, it includes 'You,' a Motown-inspired track originally recorded in 1971. Fun fact: The album's cover features a die-cut design around the words 'EXTRA TEXTURE,' through which an inner-sleeve photo of Harrison is visible.
