Released on June 5, 1989, 'Flowers in the Dirt' is Paul McCartney's eighth solo studio album. It marked his return to touring after a 13-year hiatus and received critical acclaim for its blend of rock and pop. The album features collaborations with Elvis Costello and includes the hit single 'My Brave Face'. Fun fact: The album cover was a collaboration between artist Brian Clarke, who painted the canvas and arranged the flowers, and Linda McCartney, who produced the cover photography.
