Hot Pink

2019Pop, Hip-Hop, R&B1 review

Hot Pink is the second studio album by American rapper and singer Doja Cat, released on November 7, 2019, by Kemosabe and RCA Records. The record marks a departure from her debut album, Amala, by blending pop, hip-hop, and R&B into a more refined and versatile sound. Fun fact: Doja Cat named the album Hot Pink because it has been her favorite color her entire life and she felt it perfectly described the passionate and warm vibe of the music!

Pandemic-era music really was something else. I know this dropped before then, but Say So and Streets were staples of the playlist I shared with my friends at the time. Very fun pop rap album.
