Non al denaro non all'amore né al cielo
Fabrizio De André1971Musica d'autore, Folk rock, Progressive rock1 review
Non al denaro non all'amore né al cielo is a renowned 1971 concept album by Italian singer-songwriter Fabrizio De André, deeply inspired by Edgar Lee Masters' Spoon River Anthology. The album explores the human condition through a series of vivid character portraits, featuring musical compositions co-written by future Academy Award-winning composer Nicola Piovani. Fun fact: The album's title is a direct Italian translation of a line from "The Hill", the very first poem in the Spoon River Anthology!
