'Percy' is the ninth studio album by The Kinks, released in 1971 as the soundtrack to the British comedy film of the same name. The album features a mix of rock and instrumental tracks composed by Ray Davies, with orchestral arrangements conducted by Stanley Myers. Notably, 'Willesden Green' is the only Kinks song with lead vocals by bassist John Dalton, who emulates Elvis Presley. The album was reissued in 2014 as a deluxe edition with bonus tracks. Fun fact: 'Percy' was the Kinks' last release under Pye Records.
