Released on May 17, 1971, 'Ram' is the only studio album credited to Paul and Linda McCartney. Recorded in New York City, it features contributions from guitarists David Spinozza and Hugh McCracken, and future Wings drummer Denny Seiwell. The album includes the hit single 'Uncle Albert/Admiral Halsey,' which topped the U.S. charts. Despite initial critical reception, 'Ram' has since been recognized as one of McCartney's finest works.
