So Young / Tell Me

"So Young / Tell Me" is the debut double A-side single by the English rock band The Stone Roses, produced by legendary Manchester figure Martin Hannett. The release features a raw, aggressive post-punk and new wave sound that stands in stark contrast to the acclaimed, jangly Madchester style the band would later pioneer. Fun fact: The single's abstract cover artwork was created by guitarist John Squire, who made it by physically smashing a transistor radio and gluing the pieces back together.
