Speak & Spell is the debut studio album by English electronic band Depeche Mode, released in October 1981 by Mute Records in the UK and Sire Records in the US. It was the band's only album to feature founding member and chief songwriter Vince Clarke, who left later that year to form Yazoo. The album includes the early hits "New Life" and "Just Can't Get Enough". [Wikipedia](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Speak_%26_Spell_(album))
