'The Car' is Arctic Monkeys' seventh studio album, released on October 21, 2022. It marks a departure from their earlier indie rock sound, embracing a more orchestral and baroque pop style. The album features ten tracks, including singles like 'There'd Better Be a Mirrorball' and 'Body Paint'. Recorded in Paris, London, and Suffolk, it showcases Alex Turner's introspective lyrics and the band's evolving musical landscape. The album cover, a photograph of a white Toyota Camry on a Los Angeles rooftop, was taken by drummer Matt Helders.
