Yeah, like idk this is a pretty boring album sonically and topic wise. Which is so weird to me because Amy Allen is like... pop princess and nobody knows that. She has writing credits on big name songs. Like Sabrina Carpenter Espresso, Matilda Harry Styles, greedy Tate McRae, Without Me Halsey, etc.. Like her name is under such big songs... so I thought her album would do it for me more...? I think my biggest problem with it is like i said... it's incredibly boring sonically. I really like even forever, pillar, and unafraid, but those are the only two that really impress me. I also enjoy darkside and the american too. I think this is a good modest project... but by no means life changing. She also hasn't released a single thing since the album. I don't know... maybe this is the vibe she wants for her own personal music and it's just a passion for her and that is dope and cool... however, none of the songs hit hard enough to really feel like a passion project either. It sounds like someone who likes to dabble.. but it's not a main interest.
