Fire From The Hip

What a project... sometimes I feel like I am simply not smart and/or cool enough for this guy. I would say that I have no clue what he's talking about half of the time. He likes vague lyrics that I feel like I'd have to have niche knowledge about a random topic to understand. I still enjoy his modern rock vibes though. Maybe I just assume because I don't understand it that it's really artsy... but I do feel like at the very least he likes to get creative and not follow your typical song writing rules and structures. This man writes literally whatever he wants. I think I like his other album the tiniest bit better... but honestly I may just have listened to it more... who knows. But this is a good piece of work and I added about half of it to my playlist... OH and yes, I do in fact still feel cool because yeah! I listen to Mike Wheeler's music.
