I’M DOING IT AGAIN BABY!

For an album labeled as "alternative" and me being a little wary of alternative music (just because I often don't like it that much) I have to say that I really enjoyed this album. It's very silly. She kind of reminds me of Audrey Hobert a bit in some of these songs. I really love the vibes and aesthetic of this project. I love all the references to her old songs. I'm Back is such a fun opening song. DOING IT AGAIN BABY (title track) is so unique and edgy in a way I was NOT anticipating. The way she added Sabrina Carpenter into You Need Me Now? truly made me giggle. SO fun. So whimsical. My favorites are probably Pick Me, A Night To Remember, and New Love. At best this album offers a very unique sound with fun, somewhat impulsive lyrics. At worst it's a non-sensical album with random thoughts thrown together (but I truly even mean that in a good way). This album is chaotic and that's what's charming about it. Even just looking at the cover! It's chaotic. The girl is running. It perfectly preps you for what this album is going to do to your brain. The only songs I didn't really enjoy are Ugly Side and ***** (5 star). Everything else was at least a 5/10 song to me!
