I almost really like this. For now I just like it. I think it's a good debut album (also shout out Isabel for releasing this album in January and now she's releasing another album in just a few days- I respect that amount of content output). I like Run, Obsession, and Waiting for the Rain a lot. I like Bathroom Floor and Die for You (although I think it's a bit basic of song writing- she makes up for it in the bridge). I really almost like Like I Do, but it's just a little too generic pop song for me. To close a more sad girl album with a hot(ter) girl song is a weird take to me. I havae to say the one song I really don't like is My Silly Boy. I was hoping it'd be a cute little guitar love song and instead it's basically like condescending silly boy about a boy who messed up (which like yes please tell me about a man messing up, but using the phrase silly boy is just a little weird to me in that context. Overall, she toed the line of being too generic... but she wasn't! Her aesthetic and album cover remind me of a lot of other albums I've reviewed and not liked because of basic trivial lyrics like Lily Williams, Lexi Jade, or even like Madison Beer. But Isabel impressed me by actually having a point of view and something to say. She didn't JUST use basic phrasings to tell her stories (except in Die for You lol).
