I think if you like this intrusive thoughts style of music a lot then you’re likely to like this album but… it’s not for me. I really liked a few of the songs but otherwise they felt very gimmicky and thoughtless. I really liked Home- I felt like she stepped out of her normal style for that song. I think she reminds me a lot of (my girl) Audrey Hobert with the intrusive thoughts writing and music style butttt I think it doesn’t work as well because Audrey a.) delivers with sarcasm far more clearly, b.) writes about a much larger scale of topics, and c.) despite her lyrics being similar style, I find she writes them in a way that feels more relatable and less like a rhyme scheme being ultra-met. But I think Claire would be liked by many who really like that genre howeverrr that is not my preferred genre and I typically only enjoy it with artists I think are particularly talented at it (like Audrey Hobert haha). She also uses some production on some of the songs that I reallyyyy don’t like (e.g. Lucy).
