Released in 1977, 'Sleepwalker' is The Kinks' sixteenth studio album and their first with Arista Records. Marking a return to straightforward rock after several concept albums, it features the title track, which became the band's first U.S. Top 50 single since 1970. The album also introduces bassist Andy Pyle, who replaced John Dalton during recording sessions. Fun fact: 'Sleepwalker' was the first Kinks album to chart in the U.S. since 1967, reaching No. 21 on the Billboard 200.
