The Black Parade

A story about life, death, and strange band called The Black Parade. This album follows The Patient, a young man who found out he had cancer. His phantom, Pepe, leads him through the rest of his short life to join the Black Parade. The two argue often, Pepe doesn’t understand how The Patient could be so okay with throwing his life away. In Mama, we get a look at Pepe’s life and how he died. Recorded at the Paramour mansion, the band was haunted by ghosts while creating this album. Gerard talks about strange nightmares caused by the paranoia of staying in the mansion in the track ‘Sleep’.
