THINK LATER

I like some of this album a lot. I added 6/14 songs to my playlist. I genuinely think Tate is talented and I think this album charms me a lot more than I want it to. I think this album is her obvious in between (I mean it is quite literally sandwiched in between her other two albums) her sad her girl and hot girl era. I prefer her sad girl... but clearly that is not the general public opinoin because she blew up once she changed. I think her marketting was very successful for the transition. But I love this album, like I said, more than I ever think I should. I really love run for the hills, hurt my feelings (like especially), grave (especially especailly haha- sad girl), and messier. I think those songs are particularly good at mixing her sad girl and hot girl. They're sad topics with fun and hot music and beats. I think her voice also is so unique and it really works on this album. I think her lows of this album are a.) when it's so shallow I don't even know what to do with it (cut my hair or think later) or b.) when she tries to say something deep but it really doesn't fit the album (calgary and plastic palm trees). I think this album works when she sticks with what she's going for and the point of the album. Also, I know greedy and exes are the hits from the album... I don't like either of those songs at all. They could also go into the really shallow category HOWEVER since they're the hits I can't completely hate them. To me they are for Tate Mcrae what Espresso was for Sabrina Carpenter.

Guilty pleasure for sure. I can acknowledge that it isn't great, but that doesn't stop me from having fun listening to it.
