You're Gonna Need a Little Music is the third studio album by English post-punk band Yard Act, released on July 17, 2026. Exploring heavier, more alternative rock-oriented textures than their previous efforts, the record finds frontman James Smith retreating somewhat from his role as a sociopolitical commentator in favor of musical introspection. Fun fact: The album marks the very first time the band fully collaborated and jammed together in a physical studio space instead of assembling songs separately on laptops.
