George Harrison's tenth studio album, 'Gone Troppo', released in 1982, reflects his desire for solitude and detachment from the music industry. Recorded at his Friar Park home, the album features tracks like 'Wake Up My Love' and 'Dream Away', the latter serving as the theme for the film 'Time Bandits'. Despite its relaxed vibe, the album received mixed reviews and commercial disappointment. Fun fact: The title 'Gone Troppo' is Australian slang meaning 'gone mad due to tropical heat'.
