Short n' Sweet

Uhhhh. I understand why this was her first hit album… but it’s not really it for me. I like the songs about relationships… the other ones are just a little raunchy for my taste. No hate though! She is so very talented and her voice is beautiful. It’s just a personal preference thing. I think she balances the album a little better in Man’s Best Friend. + emails I can’t send is just more my style of an album. I prefer emotion over infatuated lust. But I can still appreciate fun, catchy art. What I really don’t mess with is the country sounds on this album. Coincidence, Slim Pickins, Bad Reviews, Please Please Please w/ Dolly (that song is nails on a chalk board to me). So yeah, I see the appeal of this as a fun pop album, but I’m more of a sad girl music vibe. I can get behind a couple fun songs per an album (like emails I can’t send w/ Nonsense) but when it’s an album full of it… it just bores me by the end. Dumb & Poetic is definitely my favorite of the bunch.

Just a 20-something girl talking about her relationships with 20-something’s boys. My favorite album of all time.

the pop album of the 2020s no questions asked. dont smile is my favourite song oat and the country oriented songs on this album make it so much more elevated. i still mourn not buying eics tickets

jumpstart to her long awaited stardom. this album was truly a magical time and her pen game was so funny and hurtful at the same time. miss my $50 concert ticket doe

apenas descubrí este álbum me volví fan loca, todas las canciones son buenísimas, este álbum no tiene skip

soo fun, the country songs hold it back
