Released on June 17, 1983, 'Synchronicity' is The Police's fifth and final studio album. It marked a departure from their earlier reggae influences, embracing new wave and pop rock elements. The album features the hit single 'Every Breath You Take' and was inspired by Arthur Koestler's book 'The Roots of Coincidence'. Fun fact: 'Synchronicity' was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame in 2009.
